I’m looking for a training and development role. I really shined as a training manager in the Air Force Weather career field and was a weather forecaster myself for almost 12 years. I think I can bring a level of communication and skillset. I work in a healthcare setting now but I am more comfortable in the weather career field.
I am writing to communicate my interest with your company as a potential asset in a Meteorologist role. I possess over seven years of client specific forecasting as well as an aptitude in quality control and mitigating adverse, life-threatening weather impacting a company’s ability to maintain business continuity. I have strong expertise with severe weather and long-range weather forecasting. My strong communication skills allow me to convey critical decision-making information, in order to keep clients safe from adverse weather and associated hazards. I have experience writing and publishing meteorological literature (at work), creating digital content for clients, data entry and analysis, GIS experience, video content creation, and live client briefings to assist with their needs and recommendations to better plan and prepare for hazardous weather. Additionally, I possess a background in training AI weather models using High-Resolution-Rapid-Refresh (HRRR) data by labeling model data for AI data ingestion.
I am a strong candidate for this role because of my background in data analysis and utilization of GIS (esri tools) to build geofences for product specific mapping. Also adept in drafting detailed meteorological synopsis, as well as quality control in the accuracy of datasets (while with Fleetweather). Additionally, I exhibit very strong communication skills with the ability to convey crucial weather forecasting information. Providing timely assistance under stressful circumstances within crucial time scales is something I have seven years of experience in the weather industry, with two and a half years of weather hazard mitigation experience. I believe the above-mentioned attributes are viable characteristics that can be applied to the company to ensure that, given my level of expertise, I can make a profound impact on the operations conducted at the company.
In my previous role, I produced and structured forecasting content for our in house Special Hazard Reports. Publish and tailor weather products to meet client needs and thresholds. Brief clients (corporate representatives) on hazardous weather and how to mitigate hazardous weather impacts through Protective Actions. Develop weather graphics by drawing geofences for affected client regions. Write text to provide clients with accurate forecasting synopsis, potential disruptions impacting business continuity, and preparedness to mitigate loss of life and property.
Hello,Im Prasad,founding Mechanical Engineer at Dermose Inc and a UC San Diego Graduate. Taking the opportunity to self-introduce in alignment to my interest working with TruWeather Solutions.Working in Aerial and Underwater Drones & MedTech Domains,my area of expertise is Design for Assembly,Design for Manufacturing.I am experienced in taking a product from concept to cradle following a strategy of sticking to first princliples,concept modelling and engineering with rapid back validations.Stepping into prototyping,I fail fast and induce simpler solutions.The strategy helped me build my recent company Dermose-developing a Device.In relation,I have experience developing a firefighting Octocopter supported by IEEE AESS while working with AEROGO.At AquaAirX,I exposed company to new set of applications in the domain of Amphibious Drones,where air-dropable module detaches from the H-frame of if not needed,it can seamlessly fly both in air and water.
At professional space,I hase self seen doing wrong things in right way and right things in simplest way.I work hard and make clear set of goals in the current time frame setting future goals for the organization in an act for clear streamlined flow of the company’s progress.I believe,knowning the skills and theory is the -1 th step,generating ideas is at 0 and real road starts in converting the concept through intuitive/meaningful methods.
