WEATHER DATA SETS
observational and predictive data sets
Weather Data Sets include all raw observational and predictive data sets. These datasets are accessed through the Web Coverage Service (WCS) API. WCS provides a way to inquire about gridded meteorological data that is available and allows a user to extract data directly from the database through a series of web requests. It is configured to return data based on Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards. Through this service you can extract subsets of gridded data in grid format. Additionally, users can extract data for a single point and time location through this service, which automatically interpolates from the gridded data based on their request.
