What inspired you to be involved in this industry? Share any personal backstory or challenges that shaped your journey?

Our inspiration to be involved in this industry stemmed from a fascination with how technology can transform the way we interact with the world and our passion for the mission in National Security. Owner Marcy Eisenberg, President at Xelevate, previously owned and sold a National Security consulting firm specializing in developing value, increasing efficiency, optimizing mission, and ensuring relevancy for customers in the National Security and commercial sectors. Andrew, co-owner and Vice President, has served nearly 20 years as a National Security analyst and software developer specializing in data collaboration, integration, and data mining. Andrew’s ability to fuse analytical needs with technical innovation has also yielded national security breakthroughs at the Director level of a premier national security agency. Marcy and Andrew both have a passion for aviation and unmanned systems and have over 20 years’ experience with manned and unmanned systems. The potential of drones to revolutionize national security, military applications, disaster response, and logistics ignited Xelevate's evolution. Witnessing the innovative ways drones can enhance efficiency, provide critical data, and enable new perspectives ignited a passion within us to be part of this dynamic and rapidly evolving industry. By contributing to drone technology and infrastructure, we aim to be at the forefront of creating solutions that can positively impact our military, government and industry partners and redefine the boundaries of what's possible.

In the next decade, the UAS industry is poised for remarkable advancements and innovations. Some of the biggest anticipated developments are Autonomous Flight and Ai Integration, Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS), Urban Air Mobility (UAM), Enhanced Sensors and Data Collection, Regulatory Frameworks and Standardization, and Hybrid and Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Drones. Advancements in the cUAS industry will include Advanced Detection Technologies, AI -Driven Threat Analysis, Integrated Defense Systems, Portable and Scalable Solutions, Cybersecurity Measures, Legislation and Regulation, Electromagnetic and Directed Energy Weapons and Collaboration and Data Sharing.
