As the Sales and Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by helping secure new business opportunities and implementing customer solutions in the weather services and advanced air mobility (AAM) industries . The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, successful solution implementation, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities: 
  • Secure late-stage sales opportunities and identify upselling opportunities from existing pipeline and business development efforts
  •  Work closely with customers to understand their needs and objectives, and develop implementation plans that align with those objectives
  • Define and communicate implementation timelines, milestones, and deliverables to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct training and provide ongoing support to customers to ensure that they are able to successfully utilize and adopt our products and services
  • Work closely with product development teams to identify and resolve any technical or functional issues that arise during the implementation process
  • Provide feedback and insights to help inform future product enhancements and improvements
  • Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive business development strategy to grow revenue in the weather services and advanced air mobility
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver high-quality proposals and presentations
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close new business deals, which includes SaaS, projects, and professional services
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business development strategies and tactics
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to represent the company and build relationships with potential clients and partners
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system
Required Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field (5-7 years military experience also qualifies)
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and/or sales implementation, preferably in the weather, aerospace, or related industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to apply weather and aerospace knowledge while engaging with prospective customers
  • Flexibility to travel, at least 30% of the time
  • Willingness to obtain Part 107 drone pilot certification
